Safeguarding the children at Chowbent is everyone's responsibility. The designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) role is jointly held by Mr Randle, Headteacher and Mrs Felton, Safeguarding Lead, and our Safeguarding Governor is Mrs Dunsby-Hughes.
Part of Mrs Felton’s role is supporting families who may be involved in Early Help, Child in Need or Child Protection processes. Mrs Felton also works closely with external agencies and can provide links or referrals should these be required.
Mrs Felton always welcomes you to contact her should you have any worries, concerns or if you or your child/ren are experiencing any challenges in school or at home. Any change in circumstances, no matter how small can influence the children in school. Mrs Felton is here to support both you and your child.
